Pressure is a interesting thing. Pressure= f/a. Pressure is force per unit area applied to an object. (Remember that ya'll)
True pressure. The force (divided by its area) that is placed on an object that is perpendicular to the surface. Pressure, as define by Webster, the application of force to something by something else in direct contact with. The burden of physical or mental distress, the constraint of circumstance or the weight of social imposition is pressure.
What is pressure for? This is my question for this season. I feel it on every side. I'm being pressured to do this and do that and it seems like I am about to explode yet I'm still together. What is God pressing? He obviously sees something. Why me?

Changing a worn or blown tire comes to my mind. In order to get the tire off you have to stabilize the object then identify which tire needs to be removed. Afterwards you grab the proper tools in order to stabilize the object. It is imperative to make sure that the object is secure before proceeding. Once its secure u can proceed. In order to remove the worn tire you have apply pressure to the wheel remove the bolts. Sometimes a little pressure is needed or a lot but that can only be determined by the operator. Don't apply to much pressure or you will risk STRIPPING the bolts that keep the wheel secure. Now you can replace the tire with a new one or a spare.
The thing about the spare is that its temporary if you drive on it too long or too fast it can cause severe damage to the car and objects that's it carrying.
The tire represents old ideas, old habits, old relationships...simply the OLD man. He's worn out and no good and if you continue to operate with him you risk injury by way of accident. We need the pressure in order to unlock the walls and barriers to protect the old man. We are supplied spares (parents, friends, pastors) but they only are for a season. If we don't mature and move on we wear them out.
We have to change the tires in our lives especially if we are going to be leaders of this new-present movement. New tires cost and no one ever wants to replace. And when we do we do it one/two at a time. People are ready to be born but they have to have a secure carrier that isn't riding around destructively. Carelessness broods destructive behavior. But the one who will truly drive the next move takes the narrow road.
There are people we are carrying now that are receiving rough rides. They are about to get out at the next stop and find alternate transportation other then what they were called to. Pressure reveals the true person we are. And the thing about it is that everyone can see your tires are worn but you keep ignoring them. Pay the cost take the pressure and change.
People are willing to follow leaders who are willing to secure them. If you think you're leading but there's no one following then you are merely taking a walk. People do not care how much u know until they know how much u care ( thanks JM). Integrity is key. Pressure reveals who are we under extreme circumstances? When we are faced with challenges from life, work, our authorities (spiritual authorities but that another blog)?
Can we carry a generation? Creation is groaning. Pressure is being applied. Are you secure? Children have come to birth but is there enough pressure to bring them forth? Pitstop...
